This notice covers jurnl.co, the website. Jurnl the app is coming to iPhone and isn’t released yet; it will have its own privacy notice before release. How the app is designed to handle your writing is on Privacy by design.

This website is operated by But When Ltd, which is responsible for personal information handled through it.

What this website collects.
This website has no forms, sign-up or accounts. We haven’t added analytics, advertising or tracking scripts, and its fonts and images are served from this website.

Delivery and security.
The website is delivered by Cloudflare. To send you pages and protect the site from abuse, Cloudflare processes technical information from each request, such as your IP address, your browser’s details and the page requested. If its security checks need to confirm that a visitor isn’t automated, it may set a cookie for that purpose.
Cloudflare’s own privacy policy explains how it handles this information.

If you email us.
If you write to hello@jurnl.co, your message and email address are handled by our email service, Zoho Mail, in its EU data centre, and used to reply to you.

Early access.
Early access isn’t open, and this website doesn’t collect email addresses. If that changes, this notice will be updated first, including which service would hold addresses and for how long.

The app.
Jurnl the app isn’t released. Privacy by design describes how it’s being built to handle your writing. The app’s own privacy notice, including the service providers it uses, will be published before release.

Your rights.
You can ask for a copy of personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing hello@jurnl.co. You also have the right to complain to a data protection authority.
